You arrive at the camp, and the air smells like pine and lake water. A group of women you’ve never met greets you like they’ve been waiting. By nightfall, you’re gathered around a fire, laughing, sharing, and already planning tomorrow’s adventure. That’s exactly what Camp AdventurUs was built to feel like, and in 2026, it’s back, better than ever, with a breathtaking new location in the heart of Oregon’s Cascades.

If you’ve been searching for a women’s adventure retreat in Bend, Oregon that combines outdoor skill-building, real connection, and all the creature comforts, this is it. Camp AdventurUs is the AdventurUs’ signature annual event, running every year since 2019, and the 2026 edition is shaping up to be the most special yet.

In this blog, we walk you through everything about Camp AdventurUs 2026: the stunning new venue at Elk Lake Resort in Oregon's Deschutes National Forest, the all-inclusive format, the activities, and how to register before spots sell out.

What Is Camp AdventurUs?

Camp AdventurUs is a four-day, all-inclusive women’s outdoor camp in Oregon designed to take the overwhelm out of adventure. You show up. Everything else, chef-prepared meals, all gear, guided activities, and comfortable lodging, is handled for you by us.

Activities are led by professional women guides in small groups, so whether you’re trying hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, paddleboarding, or mountain biking for the first time or the fiftieth, you’ll be in the right hands. With just 20–30 participants per camp, it never loses its intimate, close-knit feel.

Women of every background, experience level, and identity are not just welcome here; they’re celebrated. This is a women-centered, LGBTQ+ inclusive space where you build your own schedule and go at your own pace. It’s an adventure camp for women beginners and seasoned outdoor enthusiasts alike.

A New Home: Elk Lake Resort, Deschutes National Forest

2026 brings a stunning venue change. The Camp’s previous home, LOGE Bend, closed unexpectedly, but in true AdventurUs fashion, that opened the door to something far more special.

Enter Elk Lake Resort. Tucked into the Deschutes National Forest, approximately 30 miles southwest of Bend along the scenic Cascade Lakes Highway, Elk Lake is a locally owned lakeside retreat framed by South Sister, Broken Top, and Mt. Bachelor. The water is so clear that you can see straight to the bottom. The pines are tall and quiet. It is the kind of place that makes you exhale the moment you arrive.

The new venue also unlocks more flexibility for your stay. Choose from cozy lakeside cabins, private lakeview homes, or, weather permitting, van, RV, and tent campsites. It preserves the camping-like soul of the experience while adding the amenities that make camp feel effortless. And with a limited number of accommodation options, the group stays intimate: no sea of strangers, just your 20–30 new adventure friends.

Where is Camp AdventurUs held in 2026?

Why Bend, Oregon, Is the Perfect Backdrop

Bend isn’t just a pretty setting. It’s one of the most adventure-rich destinations in the Pacific Northwest, towering volcanic peaks, alpine lakes, 300+ miles of mountain bike trails, and a thriving outdoor culture built around women guides and educators. Central Oregon has a uniquely deep network of women-guides, instructors and outdoor companies, and Camp AdventurUs taps directly into that ecosystem. The instructors who show up for this camp bring skill, lived experience, and genuine heart to every session.

Early June is ideal timing, with warm sunny days, cool evenings, wildflowers in bloom, and the Cascades at their most vivid. It’s the sweet spot for women-led outdoor activities in Bend before summer crowds arrive.

What to Expect: Activities, Schedule, and Vibe

This is not a rigid itinerary retreat. Camp AdventurUs runs on a choose-your-own-adventure model: you select your activities from a rotating menu of guided sessions each morning and afternoon.

Expect options such as hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, mountain biking, outdoor skills workshops, yoga, and evening campfire gatherings.

No experience is required for any of it. This is explicitly an all-inclusive women’s retreat in the Pacific Northwest built for beginners and enthusiasts in equal measure. The only thing that’s guaranteed every day: good food, great people, and at least one moment that makes you think, “I can’t believe I just did that.

The social arc matters here, too. You arrive, perhaps solo. You meet your cabin neighbors over dinner. By day two, you’re hyping each other up as you try new activities. By day four, you’re already planning to come back next year.

Do I need outdoor experience to attend Camp AdventurUs?

No experience needed. All activities are led in small groups by professional women guides, and you build your own schedule at your own pace. Camp AdventurUs welcomes first-timers and seasoned adventurers equally.
